Navy Arms Creedmore
« on: April 11, 2004, 05:15:35 AM »
I came into one of these, this week. Former owner set aside the tang and windage adjustable front sight for a scope. While I can come up with a tang, the front sight is a bear. It has a 5mm dovetail and a 1.5?mm screw below that. The maker was Interarmco SA, later Ardesa; a Spanish maker. Any steers would be much appreciated

The Creedmoor Match rifle is currently manufactured by Aral in Spain. They have a web site at www.armasaral.com or you can email them on armas@armasaral.com

They may be able to help with the part you want. Judging by the English text on the site your correspondence could be entertaining! :)

David: Thanks! I've been pursuing a parts seller in Texas and Navy Arms in West Virginia. Studied Spanish for 5 years, never did get any good at it. I have found some .450" bullet molds that may let me shoot as cast. Other than the sights, finding a 1000 yd range may be the biggest difficulty!
