Ken s, I don't shoot the .243 but some of my friends do and none of them have used the the 55 grs. bullets. I suggest that you call Sierra Bulletsmiths at 1-800 223-8799 and they can help you. Carl L.

I haven't tried the Sierra's yet, but  I get 1/2" groups with the Nosler 55gr Ballistic Tips using 51 gr of H380. They chrony at around 3900 fps.

Ken, I have loaded the Sierra's with W-W 760 and Varget. I was able to get decent groups with both powders, but my rifle liked lighter charges with both powders. I was looking to get more speed than I could get with 70 grain bullets; when I couldn't  do this, I quit working with the 55's. I do remember having to load the 55's way off the rifling.
