non standard barrels

If a guy asks real nice, will NEF make you a nonstandard barrel, ie 7mm08 with a 26" barrel? it's bore/length barrel they have, as well as a cartridge they chamber for.  Has any one tried to order  a similar non standard combination with any luck?

H&R states on their website that they do not do custom caliber work or sell barrel blanks so one can only assume that they would not be willing to cut a longer barrel.
