Thinking about extra nipples for the old army, are uncle mikes good? Is $15 a set a good price? Thanks- Tad

I got Treso's for 12.00 a set and they are very good. I don't know anything about Uncle Mikes but I think that 15.00 isn't a bad price but not great.

I found Thunder Ridge to be a good place to work with thanks to someone from this board.

Are you guys saying Uncle Mikes is back making nipples again? I loved Uncle Mikes nipples and outfitted all my 58 rem cyclinders with them and then the supply dried up. I use the Treso nipples now and they are every bit as good, but I had thought the Uncle Mikes were no more. Nothing helps a BP revolver like good nipples, especially the italian clones.

As far as I know, Uncle Mike's is gone, but there may well be dealers out there with left over stock. If you find'em, get'em. I use Treso now, too.

Yeap, our local store has a few Uncle Ms and they is darm proud of them, way too much money.
I fixed my Italians up with the ones from Thunder Ridge for 2 bucks per nipple and they work great with the new Remington 11 caps.
Better call Bob , he will hook you up.
