what height rings?
« on: April 16, 2004, 11:54:06 AM »
I plan on getting a 5-15x40AO Bushnell Legend for my Dad to put on his Marlin 17V.  The rings that came with the gun were too low for a 3-9x40 we were going to mount on it (bolt wouldn't clear the power ring), so I'm almost sure they won't work with this scope.  Any suggestions, I'm looking for decent steel rings, don't want anything that says Tasco on it.  Thanks in advance!

I would suggest either medium or high Millett Angle-Loc rings...They work great for me and they are reasonably priced.
