Shilo web site?
« on: April 18, 2004, 02:45:11 PM »
Cheers people,
Shilo has had their web site down for a couple of weeks now.  What's happening?  Have they pulled it or are they having major problems?
It's almost as friendly as here, but I've got a couple of favors that I need to ask them to help with:  ie, tracing the serial number of my Shilo and telling me when and where she was made and who she was sold to first.
As good as you guys are, I don't think you can help with these.

Greybeard - I may be back in "Bama" in the next month - if so, I'll contact you and try and see if we can meet somewhere.  I, too, can use "Greybeard" as a handle, but mine would have to include " and NO hair".  Thanks for this great site!

My wife and I just got to meet and spend most of the afternoon with Kirk Byran and his lovely wife Heather at the NRA Show in Pittsburgh!  I can not say with words here what a wonderful impression they made on the both of us.  I went to the show to meet the Boss of  Shiloh Rifles and discuss some things about the gun I have on order there. Not only did I do just that but I also truly fill that we made some new Friends!  I have never met two more down to earth business people in my entire life.

We also talked about Shiloh's web page and forum. I can say for certain that there is no detail about their  business that they take lightly. They are working on the problems with the web page even as I sit here and type. But I would also say that once they get back to Montana those problems will be solved in short order. I think  the web page problems are sort of a sore spot with the Boss! That can only lead  to Problem Solved!

I spent almost two months trying to decide witch company would build the Rifle of my dreams. All I can say now is " I made the Right decision when I went with Shiloh"
