Winter here is officially over the second weekend of May. That is generally the last hard freeze. However I have seen it snow on the 4th of july more than once. Always fun having a 100 degree day then wearing a winter coat watching the fireworks over a beer and having the snowflakes falling.

I am from Central Oregon. Yes I have seen it snow on the fourth a couple of times. Nothing that accumulates or even is noticeable on the ground but none the less there are flakes falling. Makes for an interesting conversation starter. I have always said that I can make the weather change in any way I want by doing something that would affected by it. If I want it to rain-I cut hay, snow-set off fire crackers, windy-tear into an engine in the dustiest place I can find and if i want it to be the nice all I have to do is sit in front of the computer.
