Make sure you've got a good sleeping bag rated for below freezing temps. Also a good pair of waders that you can wear for days. I put insoles with an arch support inside my waders so I don't get sore feet. Poly thermal underwear, and wool or woolblend socks. The best raingear you can get ahold of, prefferiably Helly-Hanson.
