Newt, ole RdFx is skinnin beavers...YEH IMAGINE that.  Seems he got a couple gallons of maple glow and poured it in the rivers up stream of his traps...got dem beavs drunked up and they tripped into his sets.  Pretty slick trick till he stared samplin the glow and caught both his hands in  330s :-D  :-D

Happy Rock is busy,Newt.Got a phonecall while I was putting away traps.....took traps back out.......
One thing I love about ADC here is I can use snares in open water or on land.....a lovely way to trap.
Have you used the reichert lock?I hear Buzz talking about it and its got me curious.
Hows life treating you in the land of many beaver?

Lock

Yea, I have used the Reichart lock. It's a good lock. It's a big,and heavy, fast, durable, locks up good,is clasified as a relaxing lock,Its large surface area makes a it a great lock for live catch.I used them in Mississippi on coyote. I am one of Byron Reichart's dealers
Right now I an using 5/64" x 48" 7x7 Stainless Steel,Swiveled with  SLIM lock on most everything but Live Catch.Even these southern  beaver. So far I like it.And gona stick with this one.But things do come along and I change to.

Newt im here so where are you?  :>)   The Riechart lock works good on live catch snaring and  works great under ice bvr sets.  Shucks i wouldnt waste maple glow that is needed back at camp after skinning bvr and otter.  I have this special bvr calling flute though that works wonders!!
