The RedHawk has a somewhat sophisticated trigger and hammer spring arrangement that allows one spring to work on both of these pieces.
The Super RedHawk has a separate spring for the hammer from the trigger, and its laid out like the lockwork and trigger group in a GP-100.
I don't like the Super' size-wise; but admit that it's engineering is very basic. I like the looks and the size of the RedHawk. For handling recoil I put on a Hogue Mono-Grip and it works Very Well.
I think some people will tell you that the Super' gets a little more attention from the craftsmen/workers at Ruger, but I can't see where after working with a RedHawk.
Take care.
