Has anyone shot an Encore Rifle with 20" Bull in 223 ?

I have a VVGC 22" Sporter .750" taper. Best group .290" Avg group .600" Velocity avg 3,624fps. Handloads.

From experience with 223 in the 22", do you think a 20" Bull would be a bit short ( Feel ) ?

The 7mm-08 has been ordered in 24" Heavy ( 10-12 weeks ).

I can not answer this right now. But tomorrow (I hope) I will have a 20" bullberry bull barrel in the 223. I spoke for quite a period of time with the owner of Bullberry (Fred). He talked me into the bull barrel in the 20". I only shoot from a bench - and he stated that the 20" is the way to go. As he makes them - I will take his word.

This is a 20" bullberry bull barrel in the 223. This gent says At the range, off a bench, this rig will consistently shoot sub one half inch groups at 100 yards.
