I am loading 30/06 reloads. Got a new set of RCBS dies. Why are the cases buckling and deformed at the neck when I seat the bullets?? :x

You have the seating die screwed in too far. Look at the RCBS instructions and it will tell you to screw the die in until it just touches the case with case at the top of the press stroke. You then back the die out one full turn then screw down the lock nut.
Hunting and fishing are not matters of life or death. They are much more important than that.

Its either that or you didn't adequately chamfer the inside of the neck to allow for the bullet to start down in. What bullet are you using ?

Let us know what you find. I just started using a new chamfering tool from Lyman that is the VLD type. It does an excellent job and is really designed for the "very low drag" bullets but I use it for everything.
