Has anyone actually laid eyes on the rimfire hunters or they still in Ruger land?

 sgt: I just purchased a single six hunter at a local sporting goods shop. I haven't shot it yet, but it is going to be my squirrel getter. I'm also in the process of getting a scope for it, I'm still searching. I really like the open sights it has and was thinking about using them with regular .22 cylinder and a scope for the magnum cylinder. It is one nice look'n gun.....

cknight98: That is the hunter model, and I really like the extra barrel length. I just have to take the time and get out and do some shooting one of these days......

Wanted one in .22 since I first heard of 'em back in Nov.  A friend shot one last weekend and was quite impressed with it.  Fit and finish were quite good and he was really impressed with the accuracy.  (he's hard to impress accuraccy wise w/ .22 handguns)   This was a demo model from Ruger.  They are out there but I think since they're brandy-new and still allocated by distributors, dealers will be asking a high price for a while.  I'll wait til supplies stabilize.
