My Buck from '03

I finally figured out how to download photos so here is the buck I took in the 2003 season. He scored 135 before deductions and 129 after. He had a 21 3/4 inch inside spread. He doesn't have a lot of mass but he is wide.

Very nice Bushnell !  I hear about those Kansas bucks and see a lot of celebrities go there to hunt.  Lots bigger than we see around here these days.  Congrats.

It took a lot of land and deer management to get one like this. My family has been hunting this land for almost ten years and we just started seeing some quality deer two years ago. Besides corn and beans there wasn't a lot of food in the area that offered good nutrition. So after planting several food plots and eliminating deer with bad racks this is the result. We also used to have a bad problem with trespassers which resulted in over hunting. We only ran into two guys on our land this year and they had not taken a deer yet. In the past we have run into as many as 4 different groups of hunters in one day.
