New to Glock, Just got NIB, Glock 22 in 40 S&W
« on: May 01, 2004, 05:20:25 PM »
:-D  Just went to gun show and had to have this Model 22 in 40 S&W.  It ran $485.  Is that a decent price?  Almost everything I read is that there is nothing to read about Glock because it is the soul of depenability, is that correct?
Thanks and Gig''em

I have two mod. 22s and like them very much, One is the older one and the other is the new one with the finger grooves, on the newer one i put a lazer max and i sure do like it, I drive the cat across the street from me nuts with it, He can jump seven cinder blocks high trying to catch the lazer lite. When i went for my CCW i had never fired my Glock and i aced
the target so i was pretty happy. you all take care,  Joe

I have a Glock 22. I bought it new in 1998 for $475 plus tax. Last year I bought a new Glock 27 for $485 plus tax. So that seems to be the going price for a new Glock. As far as dependable go's, there extremely dependable. I haven't had any trouble at all with either of mine. They shot really well too.

You all have it right. The Glock is a very good weapon. I have the Glock 22/23/27. They all shoot very well. Mine all ran $432 - so your all in the ball park on price. One thing to remember about the Glock - oil is not good. If you use over two drops to lub the rails - you have used too much. Keep them clean - shoot good ammo - and they will serve you a life time - and in time of need will be there to defend your life / if needed.

yeah, depending on where you live, that is a good price.

I love mine. I have 10,000 rnds through it, and it is still a champion.
great buy
