The second one looks like a giant guinea pig doesn't it. I took them in Paduca, texas. It's in the northern part of the state about an hour from OK. I was shooting a Savage 114U .30-06 with 150gr Remington Nosler Partition ballistic tip Bullets. I was using a Bushnell 2.5-10x40 elite 4200 riflescope. Both hogs went down with one shot and neither one ran more than 30 yards. The Boar had two inch cutters on him.

I wouldn't have been able to shoot the first one if it wasn't for the light gathering capabilty of my scope. I shot that one 2 hours before sun up at a little over 100 yards. The picture was taken 30 minutes after I shot him and you can see how dark it was. I heard him moving around and the only way I found him was looking through the scope.
