what kind of groups do you get from your Tracker II barrel. And what type of slugs do you like to use. Can you shoot foster slugs through these barrels.

shoot the sabot slugs out your tracker II.try the Fed,Win,Rem and the lightfields if you want.these slugguns shoot real good groups.i shoot a 20ga ultraslug and at 50yds i have shot some ragged hole groups with it.at 100 yds 1in center to centers have been shot.this is a scoped up setup but the tracker II will shot just as good.you might even want to scope that gun up,it would make a good deer gun for you.there are a few here that have done it and they are happy with the results

You can shoot foster style slugs through the Tracker II barrels but the leading of the barrel might be more trouble than it is worth.  I would shoot sabots like Jeff suggested.

One word - Brenneke, try the less expensive ones that are made for both Smoothbore and rifled barrels. They do not lead like fosters and are full diameter with a heck of an impact on the target (deer). They are also a heck of a lot less expensive than thier own, or any other manufacturers, sabots...<><....

Hey Guys/Gals !!!!

Back in the world I have both a 12 ga and 20 ga tracker II with the stock open sights and at fifty yards I was getting good groups of 2 - 3 in.  These little gun shoot great.

I have just found out that my retirement paperwork has been put on hold as we now have a stop lost policy in place so I can't retire when I originally thought I would.  Oh well the life of a solider.
I'm here for the long run it looks like.  Wouldn't have it any other way I guess....

I set my son's tracker2 20ga up for winchester pat. gold sabots, they perform great . i cant say enough good about them, but the brenneke is top dog for smoothbore guns, and i bet would also work great in the rifled barrels too. but i have no want to change now, and if you try the winchester part gold sabots i am sure you will be VERY happy too. and on the cheaper side of things, i hear great THINGS about the new remington buckhammers. but really you should try a few different ones, and see what your gun likes the best.

I shoot Brenneke KO Sabots out of my 870 with a fully rifled barrel...They are really good at making a big hole in their intended target.
