Clubs for Silhouette
« on: May 06, 2004, 05:58:42 AM »
Hey all,

We are in the process of trying to get NRA sanctioned matches for our silhouette program. However, I have found out that this requires some type of club affiliation to do this.  Can anyone give me some information on how to set this up, the best way to do it, and what not to do?

I have some info from the NRA, but I don't know if I fully understand all that they want.

Thanks

Chunter,

Your club must affiliate with NRA in order to get approval to conduct NRA matches.
IIRC it's $35/yr but I could be wrong. (Haven't been on the club board in a couple of years.)
Call Conner and he'll direct you to the dept that collects fees and issues ID numbers.
If you don't get organized that way, email me offlist and I'll put you in touch with our club president -- he just handled this for our renewal.

At this time we have no club, or organization.  We want to start one, and are working on it.  We just don't know the best way.

Thanks Nomad for the info, definitely will help
