I am the proud new owner of a White Tominator and would like to first ask if any one has any load info.

Second I would like to share my White buying experience. I have looked for a new Tominator for some time and inlisted the help of Tom Lodge, to help me locate one. Two weeks from the time I e-mailed Tom he replied. I placed my order with Tom and called and e-mailed the poor guy to insanity. Eight days from the day I placed my order the Big Brown truck drove up with my Tominator, Eight days to assemble bed the action and ship to my door. Pretty dang incredible. Tom, Kassidy, Kasey and Amber went above and beyond to get me the shot gun in time for the end of early Turkey. Thanks guys you are awesome. :grin: :grin:

Check the shotguns owners manual. It should be full of load info..

BTW...Have you shot it yet?

No I have not shot her yet :cry: I will saturday :-) The manual does have load info I just wondered if some one had a special load the would like to share.

"Super 91," on this forum-- has owned Tominators for some time, and has taken his fair share of gobbers with them. He's in an excellent position to relate experiences / loads from a first hand perspective for you.

Doc White, naturally, would be a great source to inquire from as to generally favored load combinations as well.

I will give you Doc's "pet" load he gave me. I am using another but it is not what most will want to shoot.

100 grains of Black ffg, 2 yellow under shot wads tamped down HARD, White shotcup with 4 petals cut 1/2 way down the cup, 1.75 ounces of nickel plated shot (he gave no shot size), and one Wonder Wad over the shot. He claims 95% patterns with the first shot, then less as the barrel dirties up.

Went to the range today to pattern the Tominator, Tried a couple of different loads but settled on this one. 75gr triple7 two over powder wads white shot cup cut !/2" down 1 1/2oz #5 magnum shot and one over shot wad. This load at twenty five yards gave 36 hits in the kill zone on a Primos Turkey target. I think that is pretty good how about you guys?

That's only, approx., 14% killzone @ 25 yds-- 40 yards is a far better test.

The 95% pattern referred to is a 30" circle at 40 yards, which would mean about 243 pellets. No idea what area you are measuring, nor the number of patterns you might be averaging.

The kill zone or vitals area that I refer to is exactly, one inch in width and nine and one half inches in height. The pellet count was taken from in that area. The target also has a bullseye that I personally do not count the hits in as it extends past the vitals area. This area measures a five and one quarter inch diameter circle. This is a guess but in that circle would have been between 40% to 60% of the total hits. The entire circle for the target area measures a eleven inch diameter circle that would have held very close to the entire load.

I will pattern at forty yards after season is over and post the results. So far though the Tominator has performed well I think, how about you Super 91 and big 6x6.

The premise is the same as patterning any shotgun hunting load, that being the most lethal pattern at the range you intend to harvest at.
