Two questions :
The grip of my Pietta 1858 New Army is very small in my hand, have anyone heard of getting replacements anywhere?
If negative on the above, I'm tempted to get a stock - has anyone ever tried one? Results, impressions if possible.

The grips on these revolvers were designed for Victorian era hands which were apparently smaller than ours. That's why a lot of modern shooters find the grips on Dragoon and Walkers a better fit. For some reason Colt made them much larger than on the later guns.
You can get get grips from a number of places on-line (just type revolver grips into your browser window and hit search) but my experience has been that the new grips are the same size as the old ones. The best bet probably is to make your own. You can get proper woods from Dixie I think. It isn't that hard to do and gives your piece a unique look.
