BPCR silhouette has a weight limit on the rifles, including sights. IIRC, the wt. limit is 12#, 10 ozs.

I would check the weight of this rifle vis-à-vis the silhouette requirements for BPCR….

The 30" barrelled version of the John Bodine roller is designed to make silhouette weight of 12lb 2oz. The buttstock has a lot of wood removed to lighten it. The 34" one, however, is not hollowed out and the ones I've seen are around 14lb+. Every one of the guys I've talked to that own a Bodine have nothing but great things to say about them. The sights that come with them leave a lot to be desired for competition though.
