I have heard some bad things about the B&C stock built for the Ruger 10/22. This is my second one and I am nothing but pleased. The two that I have owned had to be work a very little where the v block hits the stock. Had to remove about 1/16" of material - then the action and barrel dropped right in. First was a thumb hole -too small for my hands so I sold it and went to the regular stock. They may not be as pretty as wood - but they sure work for me.
New 10/22 action but changed to the following:

Volquartsen Custom Trigger Guard 2000 Ruger
Burris Signature Zee rings
Weaver KT 15 15 power scope
