sounds like you have been studying !

i just got back from the bay area after 10 days of meeting with customers, shooting birds, and really enjoying the weather out there.

getting home late saturday the 8th at night, i saw the stack of mail and boxes that arrived during my trip to arnold-fornia.

on may 3rd, my handi was shipped with a broken firing pin for repair at the factory. they fixed the gun and had it back here on friday the 7th ! those guys at NEF are great !, they really are, in five days they fixed and turned around a broken gun from portal to portal. i figured i was out of the postal match.

i planned on shooting in the postal with 30-30, 30-06, and 357 with this handi and 243 using my brandy new ultra. given the postmark of may 15th (?) i may get one or two calibers in if i can get up camp earlier enough this saturday to ventilate a few postal cards with maybe the .357 and 243.

is the 15th the last postmark day or the day the cards must be in the hands of the postal judges ??????

Finally wrung a 5 shot group out that 357 that will at least be passable, (read will hold up to the shootin' off my mouth has been doin' 'round' here, now I got to get one out of the 44. Sounds like there is a lot of good participation in the match this time around. That is a good thing to see. I hope everyone sends in a shot up card. Ain't nobody gonna see 'em anyway but WlScott, and I hear he's blind, probably gonna end up giving the match to some new flyby poster that hasn't been with us more'n a few weeks. Hell, I'll bet their rifle ain;t even been cleaned yet, probably figure it openin' on firing is some sort of automatic case ejection feature......

It's starting to look as if I'll only get one card shot. When I have time, it's windy, when I'm busy, it's perfect shooting weather.

Glad you got all those card together. Good luck!
