I'm looking for an inexpensive red dot sight for use on a rimfire handgun.   By inexpensive I am looking for something in the sub $100 range, preferrably in the sub $50 range.   (A 'beater',  basically)

I have looked at some from BSA and Simmons so far.  The Simmons was in the neighborhood of $40.   Anybody had any luck with this kinda thing?

I checked out the Simmons at D1ck's Sporting Goods for $40, was not impressed with the mounting bracket or the glass.  Saw a double dot when I looked thru the sight.  BSA wasn't that bad...
