« on: May 13, 2004, 06:19:46 AM »
I just traded for a Glock 21 w/2 extra barrels 1 in 40 super the other in 454 corbon.  My question is do I need to change the spring to shoot the 454 corbon.  Thanks

The .400 Corbon is essentially a .45ACP case necked down to .40. You can really burn the lighter .40 bullets in this loading! Moat find the lighter, shorter, bullets work best with the short neck length. It's a quick change in the .45 with a simple barrel change. The only problem I have with the cartridge is the bottleneck. Being a reloader, the lack of carbide die availability is a problem. Same thing goes for the .357 Sig. Both fun to shoot if you can afford the ammo. Enjoy!
