Shooting a Douglass Rimfire barrel, float tube for service rifle configuration, the rifle consistently with this loose nut behind the sight runs 96% on the 100yd smallbore target.  The 10-ring is 2".

The rifle has shot some 10-shot groups open-sight from the bench, 8-rounds inside 5/8" with 2-flyers opening it up to 1-3/8".

I keep saying that I am going to put a scope on it and see just how accurate it really is.

This was with the Fed. 711B ammo that CMP was selling.  Just bought some of the Wolf MT cause CMP sold out of the Fed. but haven't tried it yet.

My Fulton upper, set up pretty much the same as 1lnbrgd's shoots as well as I can hold it prone. It happily shoots crap ammo (Fed American Eagle) almost as well as the pricey stuff!

I shoot it all winter long in my garage, mostly.
