I bought a Ruger P97 several years ago, it worked fine, shot fine. I had a malfunction with it failing to fire last month, the hammer would ALMOST fall on double action, single action it would fire all day long no problems. So I contacted Mike Smisko at RUger in Arizona, told him the problem. Long story short, my P97 is enroute to Arizona to be repaired free of charge. I am a concealed carry weapon instructor and usually a student fires this P97 70-100 rounds to qualify for their handgun permit..Like I said , I have had this gun several years(since 2000 Jan) and it has probably 15K-17K rounds thru it...Anyone else had this problem? I have been thru the Ruger armorer course, but I could find nothing amiss when I tore the gun down Bottom line, Ruger stands behind their product,
