Fanny pacs like all other means require motor skills to use them which is gained by practice, the eagle model which is by the far the best i have ever used has a nice pull cord attached to the zipper to allow a fast rip of the pac to opep it, and is quite fast under practice, it has a nice holster that is adj inside the pouch that holds the gun while ripping the pac open, i ran a ccw class using mainly fanny pacs for a lot of the individuals there and we tested 6 or 7 pacs all were in favor of the eagle pac, it was the most secure, most rugged, and most user friendly out of them all, it held the gun secure while running with the pac open!!!!!!!!!!! it isnt cheap it cost about 60 bucks but it is money well spent, i use it alot while ice fishing, hiking, and fishing, or were a conventional holster wouldnt be well suited
