Kimber rifle adjustable trigger
« on: May 16, 2004, 03:30:07 PM »
The Kimber SVT  adjustable trigger comes  factory set from 2 1/2 to 3 lbs.

Does anyone know just how low it will go with just the adjustable settings?

Thank you
Mgann

Well, I will answer my own question now in case anyone is interested.

I worked on the trigger adjustment on the SVT today and just by the adjustments I got it down to 10 oz just where I wanted it.
feels great, I will try it out tomorrow. I took it from 44 oz to 10 oz. I could have went to 8 oz but that is to light for my tough old hands.

mgann,
I picked up an SVT today.  I hope it's going to be a shooter.  I'll probably be using it for 50 yd BR if it is accurate enough.  I haven't taken it apart yet for it's initial cleaning, but may tweek the trigger a little while I have it down.  The next thing to do will be the ammo testing.
I would assume that the Kimber trigger has all three adjustments, but I haven't looked yet.
I guess if it doesn't cut it for BR it will make one heck of a squirrel gun.(one shot-one squirrel)

Hi TnNuc

Yes it does have all three adjustments and you will love the way it shoots.

We have over 500 members in out club and some of the best have tried out my gun and they say it's as good as any and better than most.

Have Fun

mgann,
Glad to hear that.  Also glad to find another retired Night owl on the board this time of night.  It gets kind of dead in the late hours.

My name is Melvin and I am a retired conductor for the UP rail road. Now I work at night as a webmaster building commercial web sites so I can pursue my hobbies of shooting and photography and I like to travel a lot.

How about you.
