Hogs,
We do not have any in stock yet. I have a call into our distributor to see if we can get a firm ETA. Once I find out, I will post it here.

Our distributor got a hold of us about the scope. Leupold can not give them a firm release date. Sorry could not help you out.

Leupold released them 3 weeks ago. Got mine through Jerry's Sport Center. Think they only do wholesale, but worth checking.
Nice scope.

Are you sure it is a Leupold #54680? Jerry's is one of our distributors and we have 3 salesmen watching out for it. We have a total of 13 distributor warehouse that we go thru and none of them have seen any.

Yes sir,
It's on my my .50BMG right now.
6.5 * 20, 50 mm obj, 30 mm tube, illuminated Mil-dot, Mark 4 with M1 turret knobs and a left side focus knob.
Nice scope.
We put our order in two months before they came out.

conrad,
You are correct but wrong at the same time. The scope that you are talking about is not the #54680. This model is the non-illuminated. I noticed that you bought an illuminated model and yes that model has been out for a couple of weeks. I don't know why they are having so much trouble getting the non-illuminated model released. Seems like that one would be out before the illuminated.

I stand corrected.
The scope is great for whatever that's worth.
That is funny that they released the illuminated but not the
non-illuminated. Figures though. Maybe, they thought the illumination would sell better and tried to move it first.
By the way. Do you think the illuminated model will hold up to the .50 BMG? The gun really does kick less than my 7 lbs .300 mag, but people say that the concusion and vibration has funny effects.
Thanks

If it's a .50BMG you're after, then take a look at the Nightforce NXS.
I have one in a 5.5x-22x-56mm Illuminated. It is an AWESOME scope!
I bought mine from SWFA, but I think that the opticzone now carries them.
The NXS tube is about 3 times thicker than most regular scopes. The NXS is used a lot on .50BMG rifles for 1000 yard shots.
BTW, I have the illuminated Mil-Dot reticle, and I honestly believe that Nightforce has THE BEST illuminated reticle on the market.

Shoot'n pigs,
I wish if I would have known you were looking for the Illuminated model, we had them about a month now. We could have set you up a while back.

no problem.......
When a new scope is purchased, how do you securely package it for transit? Have you ever had any problems with damaged or broken scopes?

Shoot'n "HOGS",
We ship them UPS and use foam peanuts. We have been in business for almost 2 years now and we have had only one problem and it was not even damaged, it was lost by UPS.
