24" standard taper .25-06 barrel?
« on: May 24, 2004, 02:41:59 AM »
I think I have settled on getting this barrel for now.  I figure it will be a good dual purpose round for yotes/whitetails.  Anybody got one and how do you like it?  Thanks in advance for your help.

Paul I have a blue 26" heavy barrel that I use with the synthetic stock and it balances really well.  Got it from a fellow in the classifieds here and it shoots excellent and I am more than happy with it.  Your use is what I plan to put it to if I can get drawn this season for antelope and mule deer.

I have one in the 26" version.  It shoots great, really shines with the hotter loads.

I have one of the 24" in 25-06 it shoots nice and is light enough to carry on long hunts. I use it for deer and yotes during deer season.
