I know it's not quite what you're looking for in bullet weight, but here's the combo that my dad started my brother and I on with a .308 so we didn't flinch, it makes it about the equal of a .30-30 or so.
125 gr. Nosler BT
47 gr. IMR 4831
Rem. 9 1/2 primer.
This load has accounted for more deer than I care to talk about, I moved on to faster loads as I got older, but my brother doesn't reload, he just wants to shoot and he doesn't want his load messed with, he kills at least one muley and one whitetail every fall with it, he loves it and the 125 gr. BT holds together great at this velocity. Hope this helps.
