Just to let you know.
I just got my new Deerstalker a few dazes back.
The fit&finish, over all quality, wood stock are very good.
It also has a nice solid weight - 7.5 lbs(little heavy), well balanced, and isn't barrel heavy like my P.O.S CVA.
The only thing I don't like is the nylon ramrod. It only has one end tapped for the tools. But I went to my local gun shop and they ordered an all metal one. I'd prefer wood, but I don't think I'll be able to find one. (Of course I haven't looked that hard.)
I'm looking forward to getting to the range.
I hope it shoots (and kills Deer) as well as it looks.
I also got the 57SML Peep. It came with two aperture and can be quickly removed.
