Flatter and harder hitting then a speeding 300 Ultra!
« on: May 24, 2004, 01:28:07 PM »
Any of you interested in a cartridge that blows the Remington Ultras into the weeds?   We are talking better energy, such as 2961 foot pounds at 500 yards, flatter shooting such as 25.4" drop at 500 yards. as for energy how about a 250 grain bullet giving 3991 foot pounds at 300 yards!    If so look on page 201 in the tenth edition of Cartridges of the World and check out the .366 DGW.

How about some more details? It isn't in my book.  Sounds prety amazing. Also..could you look at the 458 Whisper in your book?  They don't say much about it in the 9th edition, but it sure sounds impressive.
....make it count

The .366 DGW is in the tenth edition on page 201.   If you are interested either call me at 207-938-3595 or Email me your address and I will give you more info.    At present this cartridge has accounted for over 40 one shot kills on everything from deer sized game up to 1500 pound Eland.   I have taken 4 deer and 11 African animals with it the smallest being a Blesbok, the largest a 600 pound wildebeest.
