Anyone going for the TCA Mach2 Barrel?
« on: May 25, 2004, 02:52:30 PM »
I never need to look to hard to find an excuse to buy a new barrel.  I have a 17 HMR that I really have never found a good use for other than a play toy that shoots with awesome accuracy.  I have thought about selling it.  I cannot convince myself I need a 17 Mach2.  A 16" barrel seems to short for a Carbine (bet you do not agree Chris) and to long for a handgun.  I put my Super 16 45/410 barrel on my Carbine the other night trying to convince myself that I would like it.

What do all of you think.  There has to be some that know they want it and why and there has to be some that are on the fence like me and some that have no use for it.

Lets have some opinions please.  I did get a new Graf's catalog today and although it is not available yet it was priced at $6.87 per 50, not much less that 17 HMR and about the same as 22 Mags.

I am going to order it, but don't have a good reason other than because I want one.  The big brother (17HMR) that I have in rifle form is fun and accurate.
