(Not the G2) Are there any BP barrels that are avaiable for use on the old model Contender Frames? Besides the gonic units (which I am not even sure are still avaiable and last I looked cost more than a complete gun for just a barrel!) Anything but the 209x45 which is susposed to only be avaiable for the G2 but I hear can be made to fit the Contender quite easily by removal of a small pin. any info please?

I would love to get a new G2 but Maryland has outlawed any NEW handgun that does not come with an integrated lock.
so for any MD residents that means no G2 or encores in handguns.
So I had no choice but to get a custom BP barrel for my contender

The BP barrel puts very little stress on the frame. most of the pressure is put on the breach plug (some pressure does escape trough the flash hole)

Deaf Smith,
I have no idea what these things actually sell for, but I ran across this on Ebay. Auction ends June 13th at 17:37:58 PDT. That's only a little over 12 hrs from now. I hope you see it in time if you're interested.

E-bay has suspended all my privledges Seems they did not like my e-mail complaining about their no firarms policy especually including airguns as firearms. since them my account has been suspended.
