CNN Gun Poll
« on: May 27, 2004, 04:40:52 AM »
Howdy Folks-

Thought you may be interested in the following - you may want to let your 'voice' be heard on this...

To All,
CNN is trying to do a job on gun owners. They are doing a quick poll
asking if the assault weapons ban should be lifted or
extended. Since mostly liberals support CNN, the poll is showing a huge
loss to our position. So, get this out to everyone
you know ASAP to impact the poll. It takes about 30 seconds to link over
and vote. Do it right away. The poll wont stay up
long. And distribute right away to your friends.

We really need some help on this poll. I think everyone is aware how much mileage the
folks at CNN are going to try and get out of this if in fact the results
show the majority of people want the AWB extended.
Please take a minute to go to the site by clicking the link below and
cast your vote.

When I voted yesterday? it looked like those opposing renewal were ahead, so perhaps CNN decided to remove the poll so they wouldn't have to report something contrary to what they "already knew". I would put nothing past 95% of the media, and I don't know how to find out about the other 5%.

It was running 54% to lift the gun ban to 46% to extend it.  Probably not the result CNN was looking for so they pulled it.  The story that this QUICKPOLL was attached to is not archived as far as I can tell.

I see its back.  55% to 45% for lifting the ban.

folks:  my vote results just showed 55% in favor of lifting the ban and 45% in favor of extending it.  Looks like CNN isn't going to get the results it wants - dang about time.  Mikey.
