If you're going to buy or sell some so-called "assault weapon" parts on ebay, you'd better do it before June 8. I just received a message from them which includes the following:
"The sale of any assault weapon-related parts or accessories will not be permitted (applies to all parts and accessories related to any firearm defined as an "assault weapon" by federal or California law)."
That's right, if California says your gun is ugly, you can't buy or sell a spare magazine for it as of June 8. I'll include my reply, and I strongly urge everyone here to pass on the word about ebay, and contact ebay yourself.

"Dear ebay staff-
Thank you for notifying me that you're jumping on board the anti-2nd Amendment bandwagon. While it makes perfect sense to refuse to carry receivers and complete firearms on you site, your refusal to carry any parts that could be used on the guns banned by arbitrary, ill-conceived, and generally useless laws places you amongst the companies that I will not do business with. I will be posting your decision on several pro-2nd Amendment web sites, so I expect that you'll be getting lots of letters like this one.
Good day, and good bye.
Kevin ------"
Should you choose to write to ebay, please keep it civil. It won't help any of us if 2nd Amendment supporters use profanity or threats of violence.
