Down on the board for TC Contender Carbines and Encore Rifles is a thread "holding breath time". Fellow posting, says he sent his Encore 26" 223 barrel back because it would only shoot 3" at 100 yards.....He's got another back now, 7 weeks after sending it in......Any of this sound familiar?

Hummmmm...sounds strangely dejavu.... :wink: except for the 26 in long barrel part...which brings up another point...Talked to a guy I bought a barrel from...he sent in his 22-250 barrel..wouldn't shoot...they called him and informed him..."nothing we can do but offer ya another barrel in out current offerings....he asked for a 22 hornet ...they said 20 , 22 or 24 inch barrel? He said how about a 26 in long BULL barrel...factory said: can do... no problem!!! :roll:

That was NEF, before they brought back the 22-250. I'm pretty sure it was posted on H&R talk (defunct) about a year ago.

Mitch the deal I'm speaking of is receintly....and it was NEF. I didn't even know there was 22-250 barrels available for the NEF! Not only that..but this means that NEF WILL do a special order deal...corse it was a problem on their end that initiated the special order deal...talk about a unique barrel for the Hornet! :shock: No dejavu involved on that deal! :lol:
