I'm looking at a Kenko Pro Field 80A spotting scope.  Any words of wisdom on the Kenko line would be appreciated.  Kenko is a division of THK (Tokina-Hoya-Kenko).  I know Hoya is a good name.  Also, what do you think about an angle or staright eye piece.  Thanx...

Opinion on Kenko Spotting Scope? Angle or S

Now I know why I've never heard of them:

Parent company of Tokina, Hoya and Kenko photographic products. In addition to Tokina lenses and Hoya filters, Kenko also manufactures binoculars and telescopes which are not currently distributed in the US.

They are apparently big in the photography industry but not so much in scopes. I only got one hit for the spotting scope on google, if the $500 price says anything it probably has good glass, but what do you compare it to?
