I think I posted this before but did a search and couldn't dome up with anything. Anyway, these guys have been giving me the run-around for about a month now. I sent them money for a LH 700 action and an FFL(for a dealer price) and did not hear from them. They finally aswered the phone and toled me " you will have it this week" That was on the 18th and still no action.

Thanks,

Jim

Jim,
Much as I hate to do this...

What form of money did you send them and did you track it?

Did the cash check/mo?

If you sent a POSTAL money order, that's easy.. call the postal inspector, tell them what happened, and I bet they get it sorted out next week.

If it's a check, and it's cashed, contact your bank AND the post office... and be a JERK about "theft" and "fraud"...

If you live in a different state, and they cashed the check without sending product, the postal inspectors as well as the bank will have a FIT

If they haven't cashed the check, call them, tell them to stuff it, cancel the check and send them a REGISTERED letter, demanding payment for the fee

Jim, On the old H&R site this guy from MC came on to start drumming up business from us. Many of the faithful on our old forum were very skeptical of him as he made claims of certain things he could do as a gunsmith. A big argument continued for weeks over his legitimacy. I'm not sure about him, but I hope he is honest and will treat you properly. His website certainly has a lot on it.

Just for what it's worth I did some business with them and though they seem to have some challenges with good help they did come thru eventually. They sometimes seemed very unorganized, but never dishonest.

The first part of my quote was from a post I responded to on a different site. I was hoping for some feedback from you guys or anyone with experience with them. I remember just before the old site shut down, there was much discussion about them.

Update from Jim:
Here is chapter 2 in this saga. I tried to call the other day and got a "...that number has been cancelled..." Sooo, I headed for the USPO and filed out the form, waiting 60 days from date of issue should be about the 20th of this month. I guess this constitutes mail fraud. My advice to everyone: Don't buy nothing without paying by Postal money order.
