Who uses ex Military rifles on Coyotes?

Here in central Texas alot of us hunt Coyotes with mil surplus rifles
I use a 7.62x54R  in a Romaniam PSL  

Another favorite is the SkS  using open sights...

I used to own a Finnish M-39 Mosin-Nagant in 7.62 x 54R that I carried for coyotes. It was easy to load, shoot, didn't have to worry about getting it scratched up and it would shoot 1 1/2" groups at 100 yards with open sights and surplus ammo. I only paid $80 for it.

i regularly use a 22-250 remington to hunt song dogs but occasionaly i' take out an old 96 mauser chambered in 6.5x55 swed witha 6x scope and shootin 129gr mil-surp fmj it has accounted for many long range coyotes. the farthest 557 laser ranged yards

I  use my M1 garand.  use fmj surplus ammo.  drills them, they dont move.   also have multiple shot availability.  I hunt in wooded areas so shots are < 100 yd.

Over the years I have used M16A1, M16A2, M14, M1 Carbine, M60 (ran onto range at Fort Ord in early '65), MN T91/28, M40, numerous M98s, M96s, M1903s, M1873 TDs and a couple surplus 12 ga trench guns. Probably a couple a don't remember off the top of my head.
