Well after driving my self and a lot of other people crazy on this form with all the questions,bull barrel vs standard wood vs synthetic I made a choice. Today I orderd a NEF 223 synthetic stock with a standard barrel. 232 dollars out the door.Only get my play money once a month ploped down half so in a meer 31 days she's all mine,.yea*************ogo

ogo, you got a winner there. Light, accurate, stocks won't absorb moisture and warp and you don't have to worry about them getting dented or scratched. Ammo is cheap also and it's easy to reload....now have fun with it!!!....<><.... :grin:

I cannot believe you bought a synthetic :( , after all we warned you about :wink:

Enjoy.  Nice thing about these rifles is ALL the stocks are interchangable.  So if you change you mind???

I didn't know NEF was still selling them with the synthetic stock, after all the publicity. Enjoy your new rifle! :D

Ok, thats enough, I can't stand the suspense of not knowing any more, I feel as if I'm left out of the loop. What is this about the "publicity" about the synthetic stock? I know I was away at camp for a while without a computer, but did I miss something???....<><.... :?

  I know what you mean, since they relaesed me, I'm feeling much, much, better! BTW-You done good. We're just joshin' about the synthetic stocks! Sorry for the scare but it couldn't be helped. :D  It sure didn't take too many guys to start a quick rumor. Hope the H+R/NEF stock didn't drop. :-D Go out and enjoy shooting that new rifle, you might as well be hooked on them to!
