1/8" shorter than my Thumbhole Extreme. 13 7/8" from the center of the recoil pad vs 14" on the Extreme. For some reason I thought it was a 1/4" difference.

I like the fact that it's a little more compact than my Extreme. The overall length is 1 1/2" longer than my wife's 22" barreled Wolverine and 2 1/2" shorter  than my Extreme with 1" more usable barrel length (actually QLA).

Thanks for the info Patrick.

My Extreme DOES have the LOP I like.  But man, those Knights are LONG, expecially compared to an Omega.  An Omega is very little longer than a 22" Wolverine 209(fitted with regular length stock).

Isn't that your Elite? As for longer guns the bolt action ads at least 3 or 4 inches to the overall length. A plunger action adds about the same too. Personally, I think the Omega action is about the best for longer barrels.

Yes sir it is.  I LIKE the Omega but my Extreme/Elite just seem to FEEL right.  I really don't know what it is about them.

Chuck, what is that extension on the Extreme's ramrod?  I had one of Cecil's plastic jobs on one of my ramrods - protruded about like the one you've pictured.  Never thought much about it being a problem until I blew it to pieces.
