I don't have a problem with his posting (a lot) and I don't have a problem with his "logic" (uh, yeah), but I do have a problem with the lack of respect he shows to those who disagree with him. I think this board is made more valuable by having an intelligent discussion about issues facing sportsman and gun owners, but when I, Thomas, or any other person disagrees with him he: a)ignores their points and; b)makes some stupid crack about your motivations. All I wish is that he would treat other people's opinions with the respect that he expects his opinions to receive. I also believe that to respect someone's opinion you have to address the basis of the point, and speak in a manner that shows youre capable of presenting opinions worth taking seriously. This is not a personal issue for me, I just wish he would post in a manner that showed respect for opinions other than his, or even respectfully disagreed in a coherent and logical fashion.
Im unfamiliar with marlin talk or any other good, large, hunting/gun message board, and I havent got any preconceived notions based on anything that happened elsewhere.
