Anyone here care to comment what would be a good electronic sight that could take the pounding of the 454 Casull cartridge in a revolver?

Any suggestions would be welcomed.

I have heard that the Bushnell Holosight works quite well on the .454. I have a few acquaintences that have them on their Raging Bulls and they work well.

I tested the Bushnell Holosight fairly extensively on a Taurus RB .454 Casull and it held up well. That's really the only red dot I have any experience with. I'll generally either use a scope or iron sights.

I have a Ultra Dot on my 500MAG and it has held up after 600 plus rounds. I think it will serve you well on your 454.

My questions is, after 600 rounds of 500mag, how are you holding up?

I just came back from the range with my 500M. 5 rounds and my brand new Nikon Monarch VSD came apart. Hope Nikon has good customer service.

I haven't heard of a Nikon VSD. It must be new?
