Saf-T-Bloks for Glocks
« on: June 03, 2004, 03:19:59 PM »
First of all I do not work for nor have any financial interest in Saf-T-Blok or Clipdraw.

Secondly my thanks to the person who suggested I try these devices. I'm sorry I don't remember who it was who suggested it.

Got both a right and a left Saf-T-Blok for my 2 Glock 26's today from Skyline Toolworks LLC ordered from Clipdraw's website:

http://www.clipdraw.com/

and installed them in the guns. These simple plastic trigger blocking devices work extremely well in stopping the trigger from being pulled. The nylon adjustment screw was simple to use and custom fit the plastic block to each individual gun. With these installed I can carry my Glocks with a round in the chamber safely without losing much in the way of draw/fire time. The amount of time needed to pop the Saf-T-Blok out of the way is far less than the amount of time needed to rack a round into the chamber. Plus, with a round in the chamber I don't have to be concerned with a possible partial rack of a round done under the stress experienced during a life and death situation. All that is needed now is to practice the drawing/popping out the trigger block/firing sequence until it becomes second nature.

I don't know if anyone else would consider these trigger blocks to be an effective solution to rendering a Glock safe to carry in a pocket with a round in the chamber while retaining the ability to draw and fire with the most possible speed......... but I think the Saf-T-Blok device works very well.
The longer I live, the older I get.
Neither has anything to do with wisdom.

Good pocket holster solves the problem. Covers the trigger so there is no problem.
