Kimber 10/22 Bull Barrel

I have the opportunity to purchase a Kimber fluted 10/22 bull barrel but can not find any info on them.  Any info would be helpful if anyone knows about them.

I have no personal experience with them, but a friend in town has one mounted on his 10-22. He shoots 5 shot groups that can be covered with a dime at 50 yards. Those barrels were made when Kimber was in Oregon. I would buy it if it's in good shape.
