Thanks to my wifes love of Dr Pepper, I have plenty of the big Three litre bottles.
I spray paint them bright orange, it helps to find them if a fish takes them into a brushy bank. And they stand out in the spotlight at night.
They seem to work best in the backwater slough's and pokets of still water.
A 4/0 or 3/0 trebble hook, on about 3 to 4ft of good nylon twine, your good to go. Just bait up and toss em out.
I fish about 30 at a time, any more and you will be to busy to keep up with all of em.
If you put em out in a good slough you can go have a hot cup of coffee and check em form the bank. :-)
When you see one cutting through the water, bobbing you know ol wiskers done got himself hooked  Just troll out and get him!
Rebait and wait !
I like to use chicken livers, the dough baits are good too. Its a lot of fun when they are really hitting!
Give it a try!
