I Feel Better Now - Won't You Join Me?
« on: June 07, 2004, 02:50:40 PM »
I just spent a whopping ten minutes on the GOA website emailing my elected officials and G.W about Feinstein's attempt to renew Clinton's gun ban. This was somewhat gratifying for me.

Won't you do the same? It doesn't take long at all.

Right on!  Now if you and I are the only two people who have done this - let us hope they take us *very* seriously.  *smiling*

That not be the case, say Dali Llama. :-)

Done but for me it will not do much good as my 2 WI Senators Kohl and Feingold are just as antigun as Feinstein is.   Jim
Said I never had much use for one, never said I didn't know how to use it.

Well Jim, at least they know they'll be getting a few less votes!

Dali:  both her and chuckie got my opinion yesterday, not that anyone's opinion means a schmidt to those two commies.  Interesting thing about herr frau klinton - nobody knows when she is going anywhere or where she is going.  We had Afgan President Hamid Karzi visit the 10th Mountain Division troops at Fort Drum to thank them personally and to participate in an awards ceremony.  There was more than enough public notice to have a lot of supporters show up for the ceremony and to welcome the Afgani President.  But, were either she or chuckie there - nope!  She's already made the statement that she doesn't support the troops and she isn't welcomed there.  I think the reason she doesn't broadcast her travel schedule is because she knows she would find more detractors and hecklers than supporters all along her route.  Just my 2 cents worth.  Mikey.

Writing letters, and voting for that matter, in New York is an exercise in futility and frustration for gun enthusiasts and others with common sense. I'm sure the situation is similar in other "progressive" states. However, that still doesn't stop me (and hoepfully others) from making my opinions known to my elected dignitaries. If not for NYC and a few other metropolitan areas, this state could actually have some reasonable political representation instead of the "Chuck/hill" self-promotion party.
